Foster Lake & Pond Management’s Lake Mapping Service is also an excellent tool used to assist in the determination of quantities of treatment products to fight invasive aquatic plants and algae. It can also be used to calculate the area of shoreline or littoral shelf to be planted with beneficial plants.

FLPM provides this helpful and unique service for owners who want a visual image of the aquatic vegetation in their lake, pond or stormwater BMP. This information can prove valuable when implementing a whole aquatic system treatment program with an aquatic herbicide or algaecide. Since the volume of a system is needed to calculate the amount of plant control material needed, a more accurate lake volume will prevent the use of excess or inadequate material.
