Johnny is the owner and namesake of the business. He graduated from North
Carolina State University and worked for the University for 9 years advising
clients about growing fish and managing ponds. He resigned from the University
and started his own company in 1983. Through roughly 27 years of experience, Johnny
knows the techniques and products that can help any lake or pond owner. His
commitment to making sure customers are completely satisfied has led to their
repeat purchases and referrals.
Johnny spends much of his time aggressively trying to grow the company and adopting effective business systems. His interests include: sports, gardening, Blues music and craft beer."
Ryan is the Manager of our Lake & Pond Management Division. A graduate of
Western Carolina University, he has excellent experience controlling algae and
weeds throughout much of the Southeast. Ryan truly enjoys explaining concepts,
which are sometimes pretty complex, to clients and customers. He also puts
considerable effort into learning new techniques and maintaning contacts that
help him manage lakes and ponds for productivity and attractiveness cost effectively.
After attending East Forsyth High School in Kernersville, NC Ryan graduated from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC (1994). He worked with other lake management companies until he started with us in 1998. Ryan is married with two children and enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting and sports. He also likes TV watching especially sports.
Mitch manages our Fisheries Division and our retail product sales. He is
a graduate of North Carolina State University, and he can blow a mean saxophone.
Mitch uses his friendly attitude to determine a customer's objective and recommend
an appropriate fish stocking strategy. An impressive variety of species, sizes and
distribution techniques allow him to satisfy almost any customer's fish stocking
needs. Furthermore, virtually any product desired for lake and pond management can
be picked up at our office/store or shipped directly to the customer.
Mitch attended Grayson County High School in Independence, VA and graduated from North Carolina State University in 1996 with a Major in Fisheries and Wildlife and a Minor in Environmental Science. He started with us in 1997 and gets to indulge his creative side (and relieve stress) writing music and performing with his jazz-pop combo, The Oatmeal Conspiracy. Mitch also loves to spend time in his hometown of Mouth of Wilson, VA, hiking the Appalachian Trail or relaxing by the New River with friends and family. Mitch is married with 2 boys.
Patti is our Office Manager and Chief Bean Counter. She not only takes care
of all bookkeeping and billing, she manages all correspondence and has become
quite knowledgeable answering customer questions. Patti's pleasant personality
and attention to detail really helps keep customers happy. She also does a great
job keeping the rest of us focused and efficient.
Bryan attended Sun Valley High School near Monroe, NC then attended Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC before graduating from North Carolina State University in 2000 with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology. He worked for an ecological consulting company before joining us in 2000. Bryan is our Account Manager for the Charlotte, NC and Greensboro, NC Triad Area. He is not married and loves to hunt and fish.
David joined us in January of 2002 after moving up from the state of Florida.
He has an Environmental Science degree from UNC at Charlotte and six years of
field experience in pond and lake management. David is currently the primary
field technician managing our Greensboro/High Point area accounts, but spends
most of his time working in the Raleigh area.
David attended Orange Park High School in Orange Park, FL. He has an Environmental Science degree from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, NC and a degree in Microbiology from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He is married with one son.
Serving as our Administrative Assistant, Megan is often the pleasant voice answering the telephone. She attended Apex High School in Apex, North Carolina and Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC. In addition to reception activities, Megan also Year-Round Account administration, bookkeeping and provides the creative talent developing many of our promotional materials. She previously worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Green Hope Elementary School. She is very active at Salem Baptist Church in Apex, NC where she volunteers as a youth leader for the Student Program. She is married to Justin Carmona who is employed at Salem Baptist Church and working towards his Masters in Divinity at Liberty University.
Zak has been friends with Foster Lake & Pond Management most of his life. He attended East Wake High School in Wendell, NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, NC. He interned with us during college and began full-time in 2005. Zak loves to hunt, fish and play sports. He is not married.
