	Captain Use this effective chelated copper product on surface algae for a fast kill. Mix desired amount of CaptainTM with water in a sprayer and uniformly spray over the infested water surface. Best results are achieved when applied early on a calm, sunny day. Heavy infestations should be treated in sections with a 5-7 day ''rest'' between treatments to avoid oxygen depletion. As barley straw decomposes, it releases a substance that inhibits algae growth. This is a safe and natural long-term method for limiting problems with nuisance algae.
