Aquatic Vegetation and Algae Management:
Contact us for help with comprehensive management of aquatic vegetation and algae. We provide an integrated management strategy designed to achieve your objectives with the most cost effective long-term approach. We are licensed applicators capable of controlling all types of aquatic vegetation. We have access to all of the necessary products and the expertise and experience to use them correctly. We also utilize biological control methods such as plant eating fish, cultural control methods such as plants intended to consume excess nutrients and mechanical control methods such as dipping, hand pulling and mowing.

Fish Stocking:
Foster Lake & Pond Management carries a wide variety of fish, available in a large range of sizes. We can also special order selected species when available. All fish are available for delivery or pickup. We can sample your existing fish population to determine the most productive and cost effective supplemental stocking strategy. Our sampling techniques include: electro-fishing, sonar, seine nets, cast nets, direct observation and hook & line.

Fountain /Aerator Installation and Maintenance:
In addition to purchasing a fountain from us, our technicians will install the fountain for you (non-electrical). We have certified AquaMaster™ repair technicians available for assessing and repairing malfunctioning units.

Pond Construction and Repair:
We can help you design and construct a new pond, as well as removing unwanted sediment from existing ponds. Repair of drainage and discharge systems, erosion damage, and leaking dams is available. We are licensed general contractors for grading and excavation in North Carolina. We also have extensive experience developing innovative solutions for problems that can save you time and money.

Inspection and Maintenance:
Inspection requirements for lake dams and stormwater management devices are increasing. We have trained and experienced inspectors that know and satisfy the regulatory inspection requirements. If an inspection determines maintenance activities are necessary, we can do the work. You don't have to find someone qualified and reliable.

Nuisance Animal Damage Control:
We have two licensed animal control agents on staff. Nuisance and destructive animals include but are not limited to beaver, muskrats, geese and turtles.

Custom Liming and Fertilization:
We work with a certified lab to determine your water's need for lime. Our lime application methods include a barge, boats, dump trailer, dump bed on 6x6 utility vehicle and dump truck depending upon your needs and your situation. We will apply appropriate amounts of fertilizer to increase your lake/pond productivity. We will help you develop a fertilization program which also helps increase your lake/pond productivity and helps to control visibility.
